Your neighbors seeing you taking odd photos of books, coffee and pumpkins in your ground level window. I’m normally taking pictures from above, while standing on my bed. So, I’m sure it looks…interesting!
I’ve gotten a few looks, but that’s fine– I’ve just moved out today😊
I imagine it won’t be long until my new neighbors see some odd bookish photo taking though!
Please let me know if you think this series is a good idea! Also, I’d love to hear some of your stories about the dangers of book blogging!
Have a great day!
I love this idea! Dangers of book blogging: reading too many books at once and never being able to choose just one to focus on 🙃 (or maybe that’s just me haha)

My family laughs at how often I pull out my camera to take a picture of something that I know will relate to a book I’m reading

It is amazing what everyday items can remind one of a book and of course a photo is a necessity. Taking a photo of a part of an item of pottery rather than the pot itself itself earned me dagger looks from the potter and I was asked to leave the shop!!!

‘A part of an item of pottery’? May I ask, what part? And why were you asked to leave, wasn’t the shop owner flattered you found something you liked enough to photograph?

It was a large water jug and just beneath the lip two colours had merged and gave an unusual glow because the sun was shining on it. But it was beautiful. I had asked if it was ok to take photos on entering but the owner it seemed only wanted photos taken of the entire items not aspects of items. the shop has since closed down.

Wow. I guess in essence they only allowed pics which could possibly promote their stuff. And your aspect pic wouldn’t do that for them.
